Jonathan Powell is the foremost advocate for Hans Winterberg’s piano works, since his estate resurfaced in 2015 thanks to Michael Haas’s efforts together with the Exilarte Centre and Boosey & Hawkes.

Being in charge of the critical edition of all piano works for Boosey & Hawkes, Jonathan Powell is following up recordings and performances of piano concertos 1 and 4 (world premiere) with a recording of all 5 piano sonatas.
